I was employed as a Product designer, to design furniture and lighting for 8 months in Portugal.

Several of my designs have since been displayed in Milan (Salone del Mobile) and Paris (Maison&Object).
Jetclass
I was lucky to join the team just when they were starting to design pieces for the new catalogue. Below are the pieces I designed under the direction of the artistic director of the company.
In January I flew to Paris with the team to attend the Maison&Objet furniture design fair where the company had a stand.
It was a great insight and really opened my eyes to the whole design market around furniture. I was able to see all the new designs from the top furniture and lighting companies in the world.
Having my designs exposed in such a big event in front of so many people is an experience I will never forget and I am truly honoured and grateful to Jetclass for giving me this opportunity.
I was also fortunate to have the opportunity to attend “i Salone del Mobile” in Milan mid-April. It is the biggest furniture fair in the world and far larger than the one in Paris. Thousands of furniture companies of all styles were showcasing their new designs and even though I stayed there for three days, I did not come close to seeing everything that was displayed. During one of the days, I was also able to go to the Fuorisalone where a wider range of designs were displayed, as well as art installations. This experience really inspired me and reinforced my love for the world of design.
Every week the marketing team would share with everybody in the company the furniture that appeared in articles, journals and blogs. I would always be overjoyed to see my designs in magazines from around the world (Italy, USA, Hungary, China, Brazil, etc.)
